Lotto Max ticket holders should be checking their numbers after last night's draw, because that piece of paper could now be worth up to $1 million.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has shared that three winning tickets were sold in Woodbridge, Pickering and Unionville for the May 21 draw.

While the main Lotto Max jackpot is now at $70 million, a second-prize ticket from Woodbridge is worth $248,038.60.

A Maxmillions prize winning ticket worth $1 million was sold in Pickering, and an Encore prize also worth $1 million was sold in Unionville, the agency said in a press release.

Lotto Max draws are twice a week — on Tuesdays and Fridays, and tickets are $5 a play.

Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot or the Maxmillions prizes.

Tickets are still up for grabs for this Friday’s $70 million Lotto Max draw at authorized OLG retailers, or buy online at OLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. for the draw that evening.
