There are some big-ticket items being pulled from shelves at Costco, Canadian Tire and other well-known stores in Canada, and shoppers are being warned.

Several recalls have been announced recently by Health Canada and other organizations.

One of them involves some cooking pots sold at Canadian Tire.

The Cascade Designs camping cooking pots are sold individually and as a part of stove systems, Health Canada said. They include the Pocket Rocket Stove Kit, the Reactor 1.0L Pot, the Reactor 1.0L Stove System, the Reactor 1.7L Pot, the Reactor 1.7L Stove System, the Trail Lite 1.3L Pot, the Trail Lite 2L Pot, the Trail Lite Duo Cook Set and the Trail Lite Solo Cook Set.

The pot handle can detach or become loose posing burn or scald risk to consumers from hot food and liquids spilling from the product, the Health Canada recall warning states.

As of Feb. 21, the company has received one report of a burn in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 21 reports of the handle disengaging after heating liquids to high temperature and liquid falling onto the person, resulting in burns, the warning adds.

"If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider," the warning states. "Check to see if you have recalled products...do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products."

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency continues to investigate the T&T recall.

Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness, Health Canada said, and in some severe cases, people may die.

Best Buy meanwhile, is recalling certain kids' products, including Kinderfeets Hanging Gym Products.

The company reported that approximately 400 units of the affected products were sold in Canada from August 2023 to March 2024, Health Canada said.

The affected products include Kinderfeets Baby Swing (SKU 03653, UPC 850007036539), Kinderfeets Child’s Swing (SKU 03654, UPC 850007036546), Kinderfeets Climbing Ladder (SKU 03652, UPC 850007036522) and Kinderfeets Trapeze with Rings (SKU 03651, UPC 850007036515).

"The rope may unexpectedly break resulting in a fall hazard," the recall warning states.

As of March 28, the company has received three reports of the rope breaking in Canada, and one report of a skinned knee, Health Canada said.

"Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hanging gym products and contact Kinderfeets LLC for a pre-paid return label to return the product to the importer.  Once the product has been received by the importer, consumers can contact the original point of purchase for a full refund," the warning states.

For more information, consumers can contact Kinderfeets LLC by telephone at 1-866-627-9690 or by email at customerservice@kinderfeets.com.

There's an "urgent" recall at Costco and other stores involving nasal drops for kids, Costco said on its recall page.

The HydraSense Baby Nasal Care Easydose Costco Item 1003698, sold at a Costco warehouse in Quebec between December 22, 2023 and April 19, 2024 with lot codes G238402 and G239889, has been pulled from shelves, but customers may have already purchased them, the company said.

Bayer is recalling certain lots of the HydraSense Baby Nasal Care Easydose product due to a "possible risk of contamination," Costco said.

"If you believe you have the HydraSense Baby Nasal Care Easydose item featuring one of the identified lot codes in your possession, do not use it," Costco said. "You can return the HydraSense Baby Nasal Care Easydose to a Costco warehouse to obtain a full refund."
