Pets bring joy and amusement to our lives and there’s nothing like a perfectly-timed photo to brighten our day.
The Comedy Pet Photography Awards have revealed the top 30 finalists in this year’s competition, with entries spanning the globe from the U.S. to Canada, Japan, China and the U.K.
“The funny pet photo competition was created by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, both professional photographers to celebrate the positive and vital role that pets have in our lives and to encourage engagement around animal welfare,” an awards press release notes.

Viewers can select their favourite photos through a People’s Choice Award portal, now open at comedypetphoto.com. Winners will be announced on June 6.
