I'm looking into NLS diagnostic systems for a clinic and see that companies like MAIKONG offer both the Oberon NLS and the Metatron Hunter series. The marketing materials make them sound very similar.
After looking at the Oberon page (oberon nls), the core technology and claimed applications (oncology support, chronic disease, TCM integration) seem almost identical to the Metatron Hunter.
This leads me to my main question for the community:
What are the real-world differences between an Oberon NLS and a Metatron Hunter 4025?
Is it primarily a difference in software version or user interface (e.g., Oberon uses "Metapathia Hospital" software)?
Is one considered more advanced or updated than the other? The Oberon page also mentions a 2026 AI upgrade, so the development seems ongoing.
Is it a marketing/branding difference for what is essentially the same type of technology?
For users: If you've used both, did you notice a difference in scanning depth, report clarity, or ease of use?
I want to make an informed decision, but it's challenging when the specifications and claims overlap so much. Any clarity from those with experience would be greatly appreciated.
